For many couples, these few hours fly by in a blur of hair appointments, excitement, messages from guests and last minute questions.
But, your wedding morning is not just preparation time, it is the beginning of the most memorable days of your life.
We have seen hundreds of wedding mornings unfold and the one thing we have learnt is that the best weddings often start with the best morning!
We have created our top tips on not only creating a calm and joyful atmosphere but also an unforgettable vibe to start your wedding day.
Your future self will thank you!
Every small job completed ahead of the morning is one less thing to think about when you wake up.
Things like steaming your dress, hanging suits, removing any labels, gathering jewellery, organising shoes and packing morning essentials take a lot longer than you would think.
I know it sounds obvious, but it is one of the most commonly skipped parts of the day.
Between excitement and nerves, many couples forget to eat properly.
Whether it is pastries with your bridal party, a grazing platter or your favourite cereal you know you will enjoy, make sure you fuel up!
You’ll need the energy for a full day of celebrations, photographs and dancing!!
Music completely transforms the atmosphere!
Put together a playlist that makes you feel happy and excited.
Having music playing throughout the morning created a wonderful energy.
BONUS TIP: Bridesmaids/Maid of Honours absolutely LOVE creating the playlists.

A room filled with bags, packaging, makeup, clothes and empty coffee cups can quickly feel chaotic.
Ask a bridesmaid or family member to be on clutter control to ensure that the space is tidy throughout the morning.
Not only will this help you feel calmer, but your photographer will thank you too!
We are sure you will not need it, but it is always good to have one tucked away just in case.
A few essentials can save the day:

One of the biggest causes of wedding morning stress is running late and not having those unforgettable moments before heading down the aisle (check our tip 10!)
Aim to be fully dressed at least 45 minutes before your ceremony. This allows time for any touch ups, first looks, final photos as well as a few quiet moments to breathe and enjoy the anticipation.

Step away from your phone and stop watching the clock.
Your wedding morning only happens once and being fully present is what creates the memories you will cherish forever!
Many couples love the opportunity to share a quiet, intimate moment together before the excitement of the day unfolds. It can help calm nerves, ease pre ceremony jitters and create some truly beautiful photographs.
Of course, if you have always dreamed of seeing each other for the first time at the end of the aisle, that is too equally special. There is no right or wrong choice, only what feels most meaningful to you as a couple.
While first looks are beautiful between the couple, this is not the only option.
Some of the most emotional moments we have see happen between a bride and their parents, grooms and their parents, siblings seeing each other for the first time or bridesmaid’s reactions when the dress is finally revealed.
Whether it is your partner, your parents, your siblings, or your closest friends, consider building in a few extra minutes for a special first look. Not only do they make the best photos, but it also gives you chance to pause and share the excitement with people who matter most.

When the excitement builds and the schedule fills up, it is easy to get caught up in the logistics.
Take a minute to take it all in, take in what’s about to happen.
Finish off your morning with your favourite anthem, a glass of bubbles in hand and your closest girls and sing your heart out before making your way down to the ceremony, trust me, it’s a very a magical moment!
Your wedding morning isn't a warm-up act for the ceremony.
It is part of the day.
So take the photos.
Drink the champagne.
Have the first look.
Dance around the room with your favourite people.
And don't forget to enjoy the chapter before the aisle.
