If you’re considering The Old Mill as your wedding venue, our Open Day on Sunday 1st March 2026 is the perfect way to experience everything exactly as your guests would. From the riverside views to the natural flow of the day, we would love to give you the opportunity to see how everything comes together and imagine how your own wedding could unfold at The Old Mill.
You’ll also be among the first to see our brand new bifolding doors in action, the new back drop for the mill room! Thoughtfully designed to elevate those unforgettable moments while making the most of our panoramic view over the River Kennet.
From 11:30am to 3:00pm, you’re invited to explore The Old Mill at your own pace. Wander through our beautifully styled spaces, soak up the atmosphere and chat with our friendly team and hand picked suppliers all while enjoying delicious food samples from Keeley's Kitchen, Fingers and Forks, Total Hospitality, The Little Kitchen Company, and The Grazing Board Company along the way.
You heard it right! We’ll also be hosting a Couples' First Look for couples who have already booked their wedding with us.
This is your chance to see, in real life, your perfect wedding breakfast backdrop come to life.
Styled beautifully by The Wed Shed and Sonning Flowers, the Mill Room will be transformed to showcase the space in a whole new light and help you truly visualise your big day.

When you arrive, please head to the main car park or overflow parking and make your way up to the venue. Our team will check you in and provide you with an exclusive Open Day goodie bag, perfect for collecting brochures, samples and inspiration throughout the afternoon.
Arrive with an Open Mind
Even if you already have ideas in mind, allow yourself to explore the venue and styling with fresh eyes. Many couples discover details or spaces they hadn’t expected to fall in love with.

Do we need to book a ticket to attend?
Yes, we do recommend registering in advance to secure your place. Tickets are completely free and do help us ensure the best possible experience on the day.

Is the Open Day suitable if we haven’t booked a venue yet?
Absolutely. Our Open Day is perfect for couples at any stage of their planning journey.
Is parking available on-site?
Yes, parking is available in our main car park and overflow parking areas. Our team will be on hand to guide you on arrival.
Can we bring family or friends with us?
Absolutely! You are very welcome to bring guests along, just be sure to include them when registering for tickets.
Can I bring our dog with us?
Yes, of course. Dogs are welcome to attend with you; please ensure that they are on a lead.
Do we need to arrive at a specific time?
You are welcome to arrive at any point between 11:30am and 3:00pm. We recommend allowing enough time to explore the venue and speak with suppliers at a relaxed pace.
What should we bring with us?
Just yourselves (and maybe a notebook or phone for photos and ideas). We’ll provide a goodie bag to collect brochures, business cards and other goodies.
What happens after the Open Day?
If you’d like to take the next step, our team can arrange a personal viewing or follow-up conversation at a time that suits you.
What if we can’t attend on the day?
If you’re unable to attend, please get in touch with our team and we’ll be happy to arrange an alternative visit or show round.
